Mother’s Day Asparagus and Sweet Sausage Omelet

A light and fluffy omelet is stuffed with pan roasted Buona Vita Raw Bulk Sweet Sausage, shredded sharp cheddar cheese and spring green asparagus.

Ingredients

1/2 lb.

Buona Vita Raw Bulk Sweet Sausage

8

Eggs

4 Tbsp.

Butter

1 cup

Diced asparagus, blanched

1 1/2 cups

Shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Step1

Brown Buona Vita Raw Bulk Sweet Sausage in a pan on high heat and drain off the extra fat.

Step2

Crack the eggs and whisk in a bowl with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Step3

In a small frying pan on low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and ladle in about two eggs.

Step4

Using a spatula, move the eggs around to create a golden brown crust underneath, fill one half of the omelet with sausage, cheese and asparagus.

Step5

Fold the omelet over to melt the cheese and serve.
